Coordinator for NY State College Action Project Against Tobacco

2005-Present
Coordinator for NY State College Action Project Against Tobacco. Ken was
responsible for developing new interventions for involving college students
in the fight against the tobacco industry and its advertising, sponsorship
and promotion.
Smoke Free Movies is one of our interventions. Active in training and
supporting youth
groups around the world in activism against the tobacco industry (Including
Smoke Free Movies).
2001-2005
Coordinator for Chautauqua County Reality Check (NY's Youth Action Project
Against
Tobacco)
Responsible for developing this program in America. During this time Ken
was also the Chair of their International Action Committee and developed
partnerships and conducted trainings with other programs around the world.
Ken helped NY develop and launch their Smokefree Movies Initiative and
developed the concept and support for the First International Day of Action
Aginst Smoking In The Movies (IDOA). Ken has been a planning member of
the Smokefree Movies Action Network which was developed out of the IDOA.
1995-2001
Ken was a Councilman and Later County Legislator who worked to develop
local laws restricting secondhand smoke.
Ken has also spent several years as an educator and owner of an advertising
and printing company.
